Home Inspections
Home inspections are a critical part of buying a home that sometimes is overlooked in the interest of saving money at closing since it is often viewed as an optional item for a buyer. This outlook can have expensive consequences.

Sellers often would prefer if you didn't hire an inspector prior to purchasing the home. When you purchase a home, you are purchasing it "as-is". If you move in and discover a problem, it is your responsibility as the home owner.

A home inspection helps you when you purchase your home by giving you the ability to negotiate with the sellers for any repairs needed to the home that were discovered during the home inspection process. And if the cost of repairing the home inspection is greater than the amount specified in Offer to Purchase contract, you can back out of purchasing the home.
